Part of the BETWEEN PEOPLE collection.

Inspired by the shape of beginnings, Origin | 源 explores the idea that every relationship starts from somewhere, a person, a place, a memory, or a moment that quietly shapes who we become.

The form is developed from Pankou, a traditional Chinese craftsmanship. CQ reinterprets the craft as a contemporary design language, transforming silk cords into sculptural forms that speak to human connection.

Each piece is shaped entirely by hand from a continuous silk cord. Through tension, movement and repetition, the cord gradually forms a series of expanding circles surrounding a central pearl.
